Rental Policy
Rental rates are based on a 1-day weekend and 3-day week.
This means that a shoot that takes place on Monday through Thursday will be charged for three days,
while a shoot Friday through Sunday will only be charged two days as Saturday-Sunday count as one day.
I am flexible on most rates, especially if the shoot is for multiple weeks.
Email me if you have any questions or if you need some help making things work for your budget.
If you do not see an item that you would like for a shoot on my site,
I have a good relationship with several rental houses and will try to help you get what you need.
If you do plan on renting from me, I require that you sign a rental contract covering general liability to protect myself and my rental company.
This contract stipulates that the production company covers all losses, damages to and damages from the rented equipment in terms of general liability.
The contract provides you with a complimentary prep day to inspect anything you are renting to make sure it is in proper working order.
Signing of this contract is non-negotiable. If you do not sign the contract, you don’t get any gear.
In addition, production insurance (both equipment and liability) is highly recommended for all items and required for most of the more expensive ones (RED, Alexa, etc).
If you have any questions on what does or does not require insurance,
I would be more than happy to answer them.
If you require me to do subrentals for a job, any liability for those items will be passed on
to the production company and/or its insurance.
I will be more than happy to provide you with the information for any company
I subrent from so that you can provide them with a cert.
