Angenieux: Angenieux makes incredible zooms. Plain and simple. Used often as variable primes to replace a whole set, these lenses provide amazing contrast, picture clarity and resolution. The image these lenses produce is better than most prime lens sets, which is incredible given how inconsistent most zooms are. They feature little breathing, precise witness marks and incredible reliability. Though they can be a bit hefty and make shooting handheld or on a Steadicam difficult or almost impossible, for the right shoot they are the only lenses you’d ever need.
