Leica Summicron-C: The Summicron-C lenses are the compact prime version of Leica’s premiere Summilux-C lens set. They are lighter and also a little less expensive. These lenses provide incredible performance and full sensor coverage. They have amazing image quality, softness, contrast and focus roll-off. They also can the full sensor for RED’s 6K and 8K sensors. Although not quite at the same level as Summilux-C or Zeiss Master Primes, they are very close and are an excellent choice for any production. One of my favorite lens sets out there.
