Cooke S4 optics offer superb optical and mechanical performance, control of flare, distortion, veiling glare and spherical aberrations at full aperture. The cam-type focus mechanism allows for smooth focus adjustments. These newer Cooke S4 Mini lenses are the smaller version of their popular counterpart, the popular Cooke S4 primes. They are calibrated and color-matched to the Cooke S4s. They have a common T stop of 2.8. These lenses are for a low-contrast look and have fantastic highlight roll-off and compression.
