Canon 7D: The Canon 7D was the second DSLR that Canon released that could do HD video work. Its 18-megapixel sensor isn’t full frame like the 5D, but still produces an excellent image. The camera can also do 60fps at 720p, which is something that the 5D mkII cannot do. The camera is a great, cheap companion to bring along with any shoot you may be doing with other DSLRs or Canon cameras in general. Rate: $75 per day
